Craftin' quickie

Spent the evening being christmas crafty with my darling neighbour.  We found these cheapo christmas craftin' packs in the store and bought a few boxes. Everything you needed was included! Sewing needles, glue, felting needles, wooden figures and all the fabric pieces neccesary. I ended up making these adorable grey santas.

What do you think about my christmas "tree" by the way?
We have absolutely no space left in our apartment for an actual tree, so my Aloe Vera plant had to substitute.
I'm serious people, this is the best I could do.

After making the santas I had some fluff left over and decided to try needle felting for the very first time. (It's a rat. Just pretend you saw this right away and we'll all stay friends):

Considering the fact that I've Never tried needle felting before and I had absolutely no clue what I was doing... Let's just say it could have turned out a lot worse.

Time for me to put some happy-band aids on the fingers attacked by the sharp needle. Feel free to drop a comment or two, it get so lonely over here in the country where it gets dark before 4pm.

Don't run with scissors.
Love,
~Katt

  1. I think those grey Santa's are great! Also that's a pretty good effort for your first time needle felting - I find needle felting good therapy on a bad day - stabbing stuff is fun:)

Good try with the Christmas tree - I've lived in tiny apartments for years and I normally don't even try to do anything Chrismassy s so you get an A for effort^^
