"Holy crap it's Sunday!" machine cover

You didn't think I was going to forget my weekly crafting just because I'm in Sweden with none of my regular supplies, did you?  Of course not, you know better.
So here's my "Holy crap it's sunday and I haven't made anything yet this week!" - chaotic crafting:

My mothers lovely machine which has faithfully served everyone in my family for years, has never asked for anything in return. Sadly, it has never occurred to us to show it how grateful we actually are. Until now.

It was odd really, how perfectly aligned this morning was. I wake up to realize that not only is it sunday, but it's also the last day of the week (I am crazy insightful in the morning) and I have not yet made anything. Three seconds later my mom says with frustration "I will NEVER fit into these Stupid Jeans!" and throws them my way. I look at the machine, hidden on the floor in a corner of the room, realizing how ugly the old plastic cover thing really is and how someone has to do something. Of course, by someone I mean me.

Don't run with scissors.

  3. I've really gotta say that I enjoyed reading your blog! almost a bit sad when I got to the "start". I've just started sewing again, after a few years off, and I've already got like a dozen projects. thank you for the inspiration, and I hope you keep up the good work;)

  4. I think that is so clever! I love it!
